Ruth, a.k.a. Beautiful Ruth, is my swan cat.  She was never a really ugly duckling, but she started as a rather ordinary black kitten, born April 27, 2005. In the summer she grew a handsome plumed tail as long as her body; and now she’s matched the tail with a long glossy black coat with just a touch of white on the chest. Ruthie is the shyest of Minette’s three kittens. She’s friendly with people she knows, and is affectionate and playful with other cats.  She has been spayed and is current on her vaccinations.
