This is Max, he is a
Shar Pei and Black Lab mix. He turned two years old in November and
still has a lot of puppy left in him. He is very playful. Max needs to be in a home
with adults only.
He gets along with
other dogs, but can become jealous. The Shar Pei side of Max does not
like water, and he is sensitive to heat or extreme cold. He prefers his
food watered down, or wet, and needs to be enclosed, or chained when
outside as he will wander.
Max would make a
wonderful dog for anyone without children. He is loyal, loving and fun.
He is a very friendly dog, but needs to be with a strong person. He has
not been leash-trained and will take his person for walk or run.
