There is a new girl at our Shelter. She just came in on August 18, 2008. She is one year old, spayed and up to date with her shots. She is also very sweet and lovable. When we took her for a long walk she did very well; she even laid down on her back to have her belly scratched. She came from a family with four kids; ages 1, 2, 7, and 8.

The toddlers kept yanking her tail, and she was very unhappy about that, not that I can blame her for that. So they decided to get rid of her before she would hurt one of them. Older children who know not to antagonize a dog will be fine around her. She seems to be okay with cats too. Update: She does well with other dogs
